The conception of Mrs. Sarah Stav,
daughter of John & Hazel Gretka, and a
resident of Urbandale was raised to reach
for the stars and most of all to always give
100% in her endeavors. The Hungry Hobo
which is now "Hungry Boyz" was a venture
into a family business. With daughters Lisa
and Angela, as well as grandchildren
Bruce, Sarah and Brittany to work at the
stores. It was Sarah's wish to own a
business with a friendly atmosphere for
people to come to for a meal or quick
snack. She also added a catering concept
to the menu for parties to be made
available to anyone. Together with her
daughters and grandchildren, and much
success, there are now two locations for
this wonderful family friendly restaurant.
Sarah beams that they are " A Cut Above
the Rest", specializing in sliced to order
sandwiches, baked potatoes with a variety
of toppings, soups, salads and desserts.
All of their menu items are prepared daily
by the friendly staff. You can always count
on your orders to be made with fresh
breads, yummy soups, and tantalizing
cakes & cookies. In addition to their menu
they even added a meal for the youngster.
The "Baby Bo" is a meal for children 7yrs
and younger.
Sacks Lunches and Catering are also
available.
